Codelco aims to land partner for Maricunga lithium by next year
Chile’s state-run miner Codelco plans to select a partner for a future lithium project in one of the country’s top salt flats, Maricunga, in the first quarter next year, chairman Maximo Pacheco said on Monday.

EIA for Maricunga lithium brine project submitted
Mining News Pro - ASX-listed Lithium Power International (LPI), through its joint venture (JV) company Minera Salar Blanco (MSB), has submitted the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the Maricunga lithium brine project to the Chilean environmental authority, Servicio de Evaluación Ambiental (SEA).
